According to a statement from ULSBA, inserted on the website, “due to the difficulty in preparing the medical schedule, the service will only receive admissions from referred patients (forwarded by CODU/INEM, other doctors or SNS24â€, on the days and times mentioned above.
ULSBA appeals to users that “before going to the hospital, you should contact the SNS support line 24 or 112, so that you can be guided according to the level of your situationâ€, reiterating the importance of the population using “primary health care within opening hoursâ€, in the overwhelming majority of cases between 8am and 8pm, Friday and Monday and 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday.
Basic Emergency Services (SUB) Castro Verde and Moura operate during 24 hours, existing Personalized Health Care Units (UCSP), alvito cases, Canyons, Castro Verde, Moura and Serpa, are closed on Saturday while the one in Mértola does not have a doctor scheduled.
