Most of the chambers that have already communicated to the Tax Authorities decided to maintain 2024 Municipal Property Tax rates. In the Beja district, the majority will charge 0,3 %.
The majority of chambers decided to maintain 2024 Municipal Property Tax rates (IMI), and in the district of Beja the municipalities of MĂ©rtola and Ourique are, for now, the only ones to lower this tax.
Even so, of the almost two hundred local authorities that have already communicated to the Ministry of Finance the IMI amounts to be paid next year by owners, concerning 2023, a set of 32 chose to reduce the tax paid by its citizens.
No district Beja, the municipalities of AlmodĂ´var, Alvito, Canyons, Beja, Castro Verde, Cuba, MĂ©rtola, Moura, Odemira and Ourique charge 0,3%, Vidigueira will charge 0,32%, while Aljustrel, Ferreira do Alentejo and Serpa have not yet communicated the amounts to be charged.
