INEM: Four firemen corporations receive new ambulances.
Corporations Fire Services Beja Volunteers, Ferreira do Alentejo, Moura Ourique and received on Friday afetas new ambulances to the Emergency Medical Stations (PEM).
According reveals the site of Radio Belfry, these join the corporations of Elvas, Mora, Ponte de Sor and Santiago do Cacém, as a result of the signing of 75 Protocols for renewal of the ambulance afetas Medical Emergency Position (PEM),
The 75 protocols, translate into a total investment over 3,7 million and are intended to improve the operation of the Integrated Emergency Medical System and strengthen their capacity to respond to requests for help received from the European Emergency Number - 112.
The Alentejo region will receive 8 new cars, We are honored corporations Beja, Elvas, Ferreira do Alentejo, Mora, Moura, Ourique, Ponte de Sor and Santiago do Cacém.
The Emergency Medical Stations (PEM) Work in Bodies of Fire or delegations of the Portuguese Red Cross (CVP) having protocols with INEM, is intended to respond to prehospital medical emergencies within the Integrated Emergency Medical System (SIEM). For this purpose use an ambulance for help provided by the INEM, available 24 hours a day to meet the requests for help to the caller 112.
Currently the INEM has established 340 Posts in Emergency Medical Fire Stations and delegations of CVP, presented part of afetas ambulances to these PEM need of renovation. The INEM will now proceed to the signature 75 protocols for acquiring as many new ambulances, continuing the process of replacing older vehicles.
