The notice of procedure relating to this public tender has been published, in Diário da República (DR), on Monday, 12. The document has already been rectified twice because the original did not contain all the locations of the work.
The project financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), consists of improving circulation and safety conditions on IP8, between Ferreira do Alentejo, after the roundabout with Estrada Regional 2, and Beja, before the roundabout with the Main Itinerary 2, including the construction of the new bypass to the town of Beringel.
The first announcement included the sections to be carried out in the Parishes of Figueira dos Cavaleiros and in the Union of Parishes of Ferreira do Alentejo and Canhestros, both in Ferreira do Alentejo county.
In the second ad, first rectification, publicado no dia 15 Feb., reference was only made to the sections to be requalified in the Parish of Beringel and in the Union of Parishes of Beja (Santiago Major and St. John the Baptist), both in Ferreira do Alentejo county
On Tuesday, the second correction to the place where the competition was held was published, the sections were finally defined in the Union of Parishes of Ferreira do Alentejo and Canhestros and Union of Parishes of Alfundão and Peroguarda, both the municipality of Ferreira do Alentejo, in the Parish of Beringel, in the Union of Parishes of Santa Vitória and Mombeja, in the Union of Parishes of Trigaches and São Brissos and Union of Parishes of Beja (Santiago Major and St. John the Baptist), these last four in the municipality of Beja.
The public tender launched by the company Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) for the requalification of the Main Itinerary 8 (IP8) between Ferreira do Alentejo and Beja, has a base price of 38 million. The deadline for submitting proposals ends at 5pm the next day 20 March.
