The Polytechnic Institute of Beja joined the “Healthy Campus” certification program (Healthy Campus) awarded by the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
This certification guarantees that higher education institutions have a set of skills that guarantee the implementation of a healthy lifestyle within the campus., sensitizing the entire academic community to improve their lifestyle, but also contribute to a better society.
This standard includes a field of action related to healthy campus management within the institution., as well as six areas of action, namely:
Physical activity and sport; food services, Prevention of diseases; mental and social health; Risk behaviors and environment, sustainability and social responsibility.
The application must respond to 100 criteria defined by FISU that are directly linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
