IPBeja: Promotes weekly sessions Reading Club.
They have started weekly sessions Reading Club, initiative of Beja Polytechnic Institute Library (IPBeja) and the International Readers Universities Network (RIUL).
The ultimate goal of the Reading Club is to make known works and authors in weekly meetings; these allow sharing that goes beyond the purely literary context, because while it is intended to increase the sense of community among its different members (students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff) in sharing their reading experiences and stimulating debate and reflection on the most thematic varieties, which are the group's interest.
The promotion of reading, as a factor of individual and social development, It is the overall motivation that guides the strategies and the program of this initiative, intending to proactive team that he does not run out in the literature but, this is the bridge and the stimulus for the connection with other areas such as science itself and the arts.
This is a club that is not intended solely to those who already have a taste for reading but, but a club open to anyone who wants to participate in a moment you want to read and speak ... and these moments are learning moments that allow us to explore, to know, look different, transform ideas and create value individual and group.
The Library of Polytechnic Institute of Beja (IPBeja) has been fulfilling its mission, It is mainly focused and centered on supporting education and research, however, recognizing the importance of cultural extension services, It has also occasionally performed some activities to promote non-academic reading.
