Not only that the legalization of political life here we are the legalization of football life. Or, seeing the side that bothers me, now adds to footballisation of judicial life to the constant threat of its politicization.

The alignments of the news do not deceive - entered in September, with the courts in full operation, the spotlight of the media focus again on issues related to Justice. The highlight these days will whole damn for issues related to football, or, rather, to judicial scandals involved clubs and foreground figures in Portuguese football. It is not difficult to predict, face to what already is watching, the theme will give many serials.
However, remain in the media diary greater weight in political processes, business and journalism, there are few but large and complex - that also threaten no end in sight.
This mediation is a sadness even for those who have tenaciously defended the advantages of public visibility of Justice activity. There is no contradiction - what is intended is that the life of Justice has normally and naturally evidence and a highlight corresponding to the social relevance of the tasks entrusted to their agents.
But this attention to normal life Justice, the daily activity of the bodies in a serious and committed way ensure the country the administration of justice, will never benefit from the reduction of news sensationalism of a few processes characterized by the involvement of multiple realities that have little to do with the judicial universe.
Recalling observations already produced in other occasions, this way justice is systematically ordered to be tried in public opinion because of a few processes, in criminal rule, ignoring totally what she does every day in hundreds of thousands of other.
Whines, and it is recognized that little can do against it. Justice lives much better live away from political squabbles and, obviously, also the football intrigue. However, it seems that will have to survive in a context where their own land comes progressively invaded by political and footballs.
Thus the criteria and evaluation of the actions and inactions of Justice has often involves political party analysis and / or clubísticas rivalries. And the distorted mentalities by party-political game or the factionalism prevailing in sport contaminate all approaches: see as an example the journalistic work on relevant issues of judicial institutions, as the announced election of the new President of the Supreme Court or the imminent decision on who will take the place of Attorney General of the Republic in the coming years. The generality of news produced on such important matters emerges clearly marked by imported prospects politics and football.
In this context, I believe the right one attitude is still prudent reserve that has always distinguished the Justice agents. As for policies and footballs, distance as needed.
What about the rest, continue earnestly in our position to do what we promise in our oath: comply with the loyalty functions entrusted to us, in order to be able to give good accounts of them when the accounts are claimed.
