The CDU released the first to the next elections for the Assembly of the Republic to some electoral circles, The president of the Instituto Politécnico de Guarda revealed to TVI that the number of enrollments of foreign citizens at the institution “has skyrocketed in the last three years, with the former mayor of Loures, Bernardino Soares, to be the head of the list by the Circle of Beja.
Bernardino Soares, 53 year old, born in Lisbon, e é Jurista. Deputado à Assembleia da República da VII à XI Legislaturas, was president of the PCP parliamentary group between 2001 and 2013, was then mayor of Loures between 2013 and 2021.
No ato eleitoral de 2021, perdeu a corrida ao terceiro mandato ao MunicÃpio de Loures, sendo sido eleito na Assembleia Municipal de Loures e na Assembleia de Freguesia de Camarate. Foi dirigente associativo juvenil e representante da JCP na Assembleia Geral do Conselho Nacional de Juventude. É Membro do Comité Central do Partido Comunista Português.
The CDU candidate for the electoral circle of Beja, Bernardino Soares, participará no próximo domingo, day 23 March, num almoço em Vila Nova de São Bento às 13 hours.
Legislative 24: PCP perdeu representação parlamentar no distrito de Beja
For the first time, the CDU failed to elect deputies in Beja, district where the three mandates were distributed by PS, Enough and AD. O PS venceu nos catorze concelhos do distrito, mas baixou 12%.
Os comunistas deixaram de ter representação parlamentar no distrito, onde foram a quarta força polÃtica. It was the first time that this happened in 50 years of democracy, tendo sido eleitos, PS hair, Nelson Brito, Diva Nélia Ribeiro pelo Chega e Gonçalo Valente pela AD.
Nas Legislatrivas de 2024 a lista da CDU foi composto por: 1º-João Dias (50 years/U.F.Santiago Maior and S.J.Batista-Beja), 2º-Tomé Pires (U.F.Serpa), 3º-Elsa Dores (Santa Clara de Louredo-Beja). Substitutes: 1º-João Palma Quaresma (Vila Nova de Milfontes-Odemira), 2º-Manuela de Deus (U.F.Castro Verde and Casével) and 3rd-Helena Costa Pais (U.F.Moura).
