Mértola: Chamber presents Biological Station, in the old building of silos EPAC.


Tomorrow, day 13 of December, by 10:30, in the old building of silos EPAC, in Mértola, will take place the public presentation of the Biological Station of Mértola.

The opening session features statements by Jorge Rosa, Mayor of Mértola, Pedro Rodrigues, Vice-rector of the University of Porto, Nuno Ferrand, Scientific Coordinator CIBIO-InBio the University of Porto, and Roberto Cricket, President of CCDR Alentejo.

The presentation of the Biological Station of Mértola: Hunting and Biodiversity (Valuation and Technology Transfer Center - CVTT) He is in charge of Rosine pepper, Councilor of the Municipality of Mértola, and Paul Celio Alves, do CIBIO-InBIO, the University of Porto.

It follows the presentations, inserted in the Biodiversity Gallery Mértola, on the Guadiana Valley Interpretation Center, by Nuno Ferrand and Paul Celio Alves, and the rehabilitation program of the buildings in charge of ANC Architects.

The session ends with the documentary projection Guadiana Wild, Daniel Pinheiro.

The space of the old building of silos EPAC, It was acquired by the municipality to Finance, for a value of around 150 thousand euros.
