Mértola: Board regulates Sports Park and Municipal Recreation.

The Sports Park and Recreation Municipal arose from the improvement and remodeling a privileged area for physical activity and leisure, in the surroundings of Municipal Football Field, in response to the requirements of quality of life and with the main objective to contribute to the leisure, welfare and outdoor sports populations, as well as the ecological and environmental balance of urban landscapes.
The park is owned by the Municipality of Mértola, who is responsible for managing and ensuring their conservation. The regulation aims to define the management, maintenance and use of PDLM, with the exception of the Municipal Football Field and its resorts.
