The accident in the Alentejo village left three victims. In addition to one fatal victim, there are also two injured, with gravity, transported to Algarve Hospital and another with minor injuries.
The vehicle was traveling on the National Road 123 (Beja/Mértola connection) and after passing the gas station he fell onto the terrace of an establishment, next to the taxi stop.
According to the Subregional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of Baixo Alentejo, death was declared at the scene.
The passenger vehicle also ran over another person, who is in serious condition and was helitransported by INEM to the hospital in Faro.
