Mértola: rural electrification in farms of the county.
Rural electrification in the Mértola municipality, arrived at 56 farms. municipal investment 139 thousand euros.
The rural electrification project Mértola is entering the third phase, with completion scheduled for April 2019. The first and second phases benefited 49 farmers, in total 56 farms, and they had a municipal investment 139 thousand euros. Total investment in rural electrification county amounts to one million three hundred thousand euros.
On 4 February the Mayor of Mértola, Jorge Rosa, accompanied by the leaders of the rural electrification project in the county, EDP Distribution, visited all beneficiaries of the arrival of electricity to their homes and farms.
The visit aimed to contact with residents who already have their electrified farms and see how the arrival of light helped their daily activities.
