The municipality has prepared a varied program that covers different audiences, maintaining, so, the collective purpose of creating reading communities.
Organized by the Municipality of Mértola through the Municipal Library, This initiative aims to promote a taste for books, through reading and many other literacies.

The Municipality counts on “everyone’s enthusiasm to live the proposed experiences that take place in the Multipurpose Pavilion, at EB School 2,3 de S. Sebastião de Mértola and at Cineteatro Marques Duque.

In this edition of the Book Fair, the city council counts on the presence of authors such as Cristina Taquelim, David Machado, Margarida Botelho, among others. This year we have, for the first time, with the collaboration of the Mértola Delegation of the Portuguese League Against Cancer.
