Mértola: Book Fair between 25 November and 2 of December.
No Sunday, day 25 November, kicks off another edition of the Book Fair Mértola, an initiative of the City Council.
The event presents every year, in addition to the bibliographical news, a cultural program for all ages. The Book Fair will run until 2 of December, in the hall of fire, and has the support of the Holy House of Mercy of Mertola.
On the first day of the event's activities are dedicated to the young and their families with the initiatives "Discovering the fair ... games for the youngest", at 15:00, and "Christmas Taleigo: give me your dreams for me to play ", Ladybug by Duarte, 16:00.
On 26, the Book Fair offers students the EB1 of Mértola a meeting with writer Carlos Lefty and their dolls. On Tuesday, day 27, will take place the "creative writing workshop micronarratives human rights", Fernando Guerreiro, and activity "Growing up with books: pet meow!!", with Claudia Sousa. The next day follows, no Cine-teatro Marques Duque, theater show based on the work of José Saramago "I got up off the ground", Carlos Marques, and a traditional tales session, Rosary with Luzia. The Captivate Group presents on 29 the theater show "A special shoe".
At the Book Fair are held presentations of the books "speak of Ditarenhos Alentejo", Luis Miguel Ricardo (day 30, at 15:00), "Four Corners and many others: songbooks original Alentejo ", Joaquim Caeiro (day 1, by 15h30) and "Sea of ​​time without anchors", Miguel Rego (day 2, by 15h30).
The Book Fair presents the exhibition Notes on the "Sea of ​​time without anchors", paintings and drawings by Manuel Passinhas and can be visited from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 20:00 and on Saturday and Sunday from 14h00 to 20h00.
