The Municipality of Mértola, will promote one of the most awaited initiatives of the county, the Festivities of the Village of Mértola, where Pedro Abrunhosa is headliner.
The municipality maintains that the Festas da Vila “are an annual event full of joy, tradition and musical shows at the emblematic Cais do Guadiana”.
The festivities will be dedicated to Saint John, patron saint of Mértola, providing residents and visitors with unforgettable moments of fun and celebration.
The diversified program of Festas da Vila de Mértola promises to please all musical tastes and offer memorable experiences. Among the highlights, we will have nationally renowned musical performances, as well as traditional events that represent the cultural essence of this enchanting region.
The Festivities of the Village of Mértola will start on the day 17 June, with the show Remember – Tribute 80&90. on this special night, music lovers will be transported back to past decades, enjoying a nostalgic trip filled with timeless hits.
On 23 June, Cais do Guadiana will come to life with a fantastic concert by Pedro Abrunhosa & The Peasants of Pias. The night will end with the vibrant energy of the talented Miguel Bravo. Get ready for a night full of emotions., where the enveloping melodies and striking lyrics promise to delight the audience.
On 24 June, the party continues with performances by Julinho KSD and Miguel Azevedo, two outstanding artists in the current music scene. The contagious energies of these artists will provide moments of pure fun for all generations..
To end big, no Sunday, day 25 June, we will have the famous Sardinhada, a traditional moment that always attracts many residents from all over Mértola. Everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy a tasty sardine, to the sound of circulating animation and a fun dance, that will invite everyone to dance and celebrate the culture and joy of Mértola.
