Mértola: Social Forum brought together professionals from the Alentejo and Algarve.
O IMAX Marques Duque, in Mértola, welcomed the Social Forum of Social Mértola County Network with the presence of local partners and representatives of various entities of the Alentejo and Algarve.
That same day, the Municipality of Mértola and the Bank feeds Against Hunger Beja signed a staining protocol.
In order to share experiences and knowledge on social realities and the answers that institutions provide the most vulnerable, technicians who attended the social forum were to learn more about the Food Bank Against Hunger and its role in the Mértola municipality.
They were also presented the new delegation of the League Against Cancer, in Mértola, whose inauguration will take place on 4 Feb., Gerontopsychiatry the consultation of Psychiatric Services of ULSBA, the Diocesan Caritas of Beja and the Fisherman design Dreams, Association Support Person Outstanding Algarve, which is being implemented in Albufeira.
After the lunch break and the moderation in charge of the social area of ​​Mértola House, Mario Thomas, technicians attended the presentations of initiatives that are taking place in Ourique and Serpa.
The Social Forum ended with a presentation on the birth and evolution of social networks and how these responses and grew and were adapting to new social realities, cultural and also technological.
