A partir das 18:00, this Saturday, the “Gateway to the Guadiana Valley Natural Park will be inaugurated”.
The event, open to the public, will take place at the Former Fiscal Guard Post (next to Foz da Ribeira de Oeiras).
It should be noted that, inside the rooms of the two buildings that have since been restored (from the former tax guard post), a set of exhibition panels will be displayed on the riverside ecosystems associated with the Guadiana River, as well as the arts and the fishing community of Vila de Mértola.
This activity aims to bring visitors closer to cultural and natural heritage, transmitting knowledge in a simple way, in a place suitable for observing the Guadiana River.
In order to enrich and innovate the experience, A sound route was also created that complements the exhibition contents.
This is an initiative promoted by ADPM within the scope of UÁDI ANA – PNVG’s Tourist Enhancement project, which is co-financed by the Environmental Fund, and with the partnership of entities such as ICNF, the Mértola City Council and the Serpa City Council.
