The Baby Project + is an initiative of the Parish Council of Mértola which aims to encourage birth in the parish and help families in this new stage.
This year we have already delivered five checks, no value 500 euros each, new babies and their families.
In the year of 2020 the parish's investment reached five thousand euros, a significant amount in the annual budget, but also a reason for great satisfaction for the help given.
According to the president of the Mértola Parish Council, Louis Wood, “at the end of the year 2021 We hope to exceed these values”.
