Mértola: Parish Council promotes "A Summer with Culture".
The Mértola parish council promotes during the summer months the initiative "A Summer with Culture".
The initiative aims to diversify the supply of cultural activities in the parish council and promote the participation of the population in times of leisure and entertainment.
Morning 4 September held in Mértola, one "Walk with History", beginning at 21h, next to the headquarters building of the Parish of Mértola.
The walk will go through the Castle, Church, Alcazaba and Replica Islamic House, located in the historic center of Mértola. In museums is one Municipality of Mértola tourism technician who will explain and present to all participants the exhibits, promoting the history and heritage of Mértola.
The activity is organized by the Board of Sports and Culture Cabinet Mértola Town and has the support of the Municipality of Mértola.
