Mértola: I would ride in the Women's on the day 8 February 2025.

The Municipality of Mértola, in partnership with the Portuguese Club of Monteiros and the Alentejo Federation of Hunters, is pleased to announce the holding of the first Female Mount in the municipality of Mértola.

This event, included in the 3rd edition of Jornadas da Caça, will take place on the day 8 February 2025.

The poster for this event was presented at the Expo Mértola Multipurpose Pavilion, during a public session aimed at the media, and which was attended by Mário Tomé (Mayor of Mértola), Arthur Torres Pereira (President of the Portuguese Club of Monteiros) and Nuno Ferro (President of the Alentejo Hunters Federation).

This event is particularly notable for being an all-female mount, an unusual initiative that aims to attract more and more women to the hunting sector. The Women's Riding in Mértola stands out as a unique opportunity to promote inclusion and diversity in the hunting sector. The mount will feature 35 posts and 10 packs, providing a unique experience for all participants. The value of each post is €150, including Friday dinner, breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
