Signing of the Collaboration Protocol between the Municipality of Mértola and the Parish Church Factory.
Within the scope of the Collaboration Protocol signed between the Municipality of Mértola and the Factory of the Parish Church of the Parish of Mértola, 28 January 2021, which has the logistical support of the Alcaria Ruiva Parish Councils, Espirito Santo and Santana de Cambas, a meeting was held, to assess the status of work.
Considering the importance of conservation and rehabilitation of religious property in the municipality of Mértola, the municipality contributes financially with the amount of eighteen thousand euros, and in this first phase, are the target of interventions, namely: exterior and interior paintings, small repairs and plastering and lighting, in the following buildings:
Churches of Alcaria Ruiva, Algodor, Top Gafo Cut, Santana de Cambas, Vale de Açor de Cima and Chapel of Nª Srª das Neves in Mesquita. At present, interventions in the churches of Alcaria Ruiva have been completed, Algodor, Corte Gafo de Cima and Açor de Cima valley.
