Mértola Museum hosts exhibition about writing in Alentejo.
The Museum Center of the Paleochristian Basilica, in Mértola, welcomes the 6 a 25 July the exhibition "Writing in the Lower Alentejo origins to the present day", an initiative of the Lower Alentejo Museums Network, integrating the Intermunicipal Community of the Lower Alentejo (CIMB). The inauguration will take place on 6 July, at 21:30, followed by the musical show "2500 years of writing".
The traveling exhibition aims to meet the writing on the Alentejo throughout history. The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9h00 to 12h30 and from 14h00 to 17h30.
