Orlando Pereira was the name chosen as the CDU candidate for the presidency of the Municipality of Mértola in the forthcoming local elections 1 October 2017.
Orlando Manuel Fonseca Pereira, has 55 years is militant of the PCP, is Post-doctoral degree in Tourism from the Faculty of Economics, University of Algarve, PhD in Sociology, Master and Specialist in Sociology, A graduate degree in Public Administration and Regional Development in the Perspective of the European Communities and has a degree in Sociology, the University of Évora.
