The river beach of Albufeira Tapada Grande, na Mina de S. Sundays, He received the Blue Flag certificate, assigned by FEE (Foundation For Environmental Education), in collaboration with the ABAE (European Blue Flag Association).
The certificate attests to the efforts of the Municipality of Mértola the past five years, in order to achieve excellent standards in the fields of environmental education, the quality of bathing water, environmental management and security.
The ceremony took place during the preparatory meeting of the Blue Flag Program 2017 which took place at the CCDR-Alentejo, on 19 of December. the River Beach of Albufeira Tapada Grande - S Mine. Sundays, saw recognized the work done in recent 5 year old, having received the Blue Flag certificate, assigned by FEE (Foundation For Environmental Education), in collaboration with the ABAE (European Blue Flag Association).
For 2017 the Blue Flag Programme foresees further increase the level of demand by introducing new criteria that go through better information, education and environmental management. A new challenge to which the city will surely give the best answer.
