The Municipality of Mértola has in public discussion, Municipal Regulation Project Assignment Distinctions Honorary. The document was approved by the Board of 07 December 2016 and published in 3 January 2017 in the 2nd Series of the State Gazette.
A atribuição de distinções honorificas municipais têm por finalidade distinguir as pessoas singulares ou coletivas que se notabilizem por méritos pessoais, para o engrandecimento e dignificação do concelho de Mértola.
Visam também homenagear trabalhadores do Município de Mértola que se tenham distinguido exemplarmente no desempenho das suas tarefas, with merit, dedication and diligence worthy of highlight.
The Municipality of Mértola establishing the following honors:
a) Municipal Medal of Merit (or honor?);
c) Medal of Good Municipal Services.
A Medalha Municipal de Mérito destina -se a homenagear pessoas individuais ou coletivas que tenham prestado contributos relevantes no campo social, economic, cultural, sports, humanitário ou outros de notável importância, worthy of public recognition, e que sejam naturais, have their residence or registered office in the municipality of Mértola.
The Municipal Medal of Merit will be, only, grade gold.
A Medalha de Bons Serviços Municipais destinam -se a homenagear trabalhadores do Município de Mértola que se tenham distinguido exemplarmente no desempenho das suas tarefas, with merit, dedication and diligence worthy of highlight.
The Medal of Good Municipal Services comprises the gold grades, silver and bronze, depending on the awarded has completed, respectively, 35, 25 and 15 years of service, até à data de realização da cerimónia de entrega da Medalha.
A Medalha Municipal de Mérito é concedida por deliberação da Assembleia Municipal, a proposal submitted by the City Council, reasoned. A(s) Awards) de Bons Serviços Municipais é concedida por deliberação da Câmara Municipal, sob proposta fundamentada do Presidente da Câmara Municipal.
Of all the individual medals diplomas will be passed, assinados pelo Presidente da Câmara e autenticados com o selo branco deste Município.
It will create an insignia record book which will be recorded, de modo cronológico, assignment decisions taken, as medalhas atribuídas, os seus destinatários e fundamentos da respetiva atribuição.
Either instituted medals may be awarded posthumously.
