Mértola: recognized as “Family Responsible authority”.
Mértola again recognized as "Family Responsible Authority in 2019".
The Mértola Municipality was the ninth time distinguished as a responsible authority familiarly, an award by the Center of Family Responsible Authority.
The local authority will get the green flag with palm (to receive the award for three or more consecutive years) the good practices in relation to families.
The flag will be delivered on 27 November, in the Auditorium of FEFAL Foundation, in Coimbra, and then hoisted on the building of the Town Hall, in Mértola.
For the award of this distinction, the Observatory evaluated several criteria, including support to maternity and paternity, support for families with special needs, the education, housing, transport, health or culture and sport.
