Mértola: Workshop on the navigability of the River Guadiana.
Held last Thursday, day 11 May, an important business meeting with the goal of making the state of play and future programming in relation to the Guadiana airworthiness process.
To this end were representatives from different entities participating in the process.
With regard to Alcoutim section - Pomarão, It approved an application Interreg, last April, which will fund in 75% project development and execution of the work, at an estimated cost of 1.000.000 €.
The General Directorate of Natural Resources, Security and Maritime Services (DGRM) will prepare the design and launch the work in early 2018.
In Pomarão section - Mértola has been authorized by the Ministry of the Sea state-hydrographic survey that has already started in 2018, essential step and determine the necessary interventions for defining the intervention type and navigation solutions to adopt.
