The Mértola City Council started basic sanitation works in the town of Góis, belonging to the Union of Parishes of São Miguel do Pinheiro, São Pedro de Solis and Sao Sebastiao dos Carros, representing a significant investment of 928.500,00 €. This project is another decisive step in improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of this location.
With a deadline scheduled for completion in November 2024, works will encompass the implementation of vital infrastructure to enable all local homes to connect to water supply networks, drainage of domestic and rainwater wastewater. Besides, The project includes paving the streets, thus ensuring more adequate and comfortable mobility conditions for residents.
The main objective of this work is to provide adequate sanitary and hygiene conditions, providing access to essential basic services for the community of Góis.
