The “Vila Museu” hosted a working meeting promoted by the Commissions for Coordination and Regional Development (CCDR) of the Alentejo and the Algarve and by the Board of Andalusia.
This session on Cross-Border Cooperation, was intended to develop cross-border connections in the context of the Euro region Alentejo – Algarve – Andalusia (EuroAAA), with special emphasis on the navigability and enhancement of the Baixo Guadiana.
In this meeting that was divided between Mértola and Alcoutim, other domains such as green infrastructure and biodiversity were also addressed, blue growth and fire prevention.
Among the various national entities, spanish and regional, to highlight the presence of the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion through the Secretary of State for Regional Development, Isabel Ferreira, and José Enrique Millo Rocher, Secretary-General for Foreign Action, European Union and Cooperation.
