The Municipality of Mértola promotes from day to day 20 of December, the free testing of citizens, through the Mobile Medical Social Unit.
Taking into account the upcoming Christmas season, the municipality of Mértola wants all families to meet in safety and, according to DGS guidelines, to this end, it promotes testing of the population through self-tests carried out by health professionals in the Mobile Medical Unit Social.
The testing takes place by scheduling 1 test per person and it's completely free., interested parties should contact the municipality by telephone.: 286 610 100 or via email: inespalma@cm-mertola.pt. The testing will take place from 20 a 23 of December, 27 a 30 december and 3 a 7 January.
According to the latest data provided by the Chamber of Mértola, concerning 5 of December, in the county there is 5 active cases, and since the beginning of the pandemic there has been 507 confirmed cases, 464 recovered and 38 fatalities.
