Mértola: “A summer with culture” animates nights “Village Museum”.
The Mértola parish council promotes in July, August and September the initiative "A summer with culture", including spectacles, walks and activities for children in the village of Mértola.
The first activity is a demonstration of acrobatic gymnastics and karate and will take place on 4 July, no Largo Vasco da Gama. In July they are scheduled, also, a walk through history and a show with the Ethnographic Group of St. Anthony Arenilha, on days 11 and 18, respectively.
The proposals of Mértola Parish Council for the month of August are the shows with Bruno Batista, on 1, the amphitheater Zeca Afonso, and Luis Simenta, on 29, Besides in-river, and a walk with books, on 22.
In September, on 5, there will be a session for children, the Sports Park and Municipal Recreation. A summer with culture terminating activities, on 19 of September, with a show with one of the musical groups of neighborhood "Beautiful Earth”.
