The City Council will hold the XI Hunting Fair, of 23 a 25 October, in the new Multipurpose Pavilion Expo Mértola.
So, this year, despite all the conditions, the Hunting Fair will continue to celebrate and promote the county's hunting heritage and its tourist and economic potential.
Due to the pandemic, the fair will not have live shows or the usual gastronomy section that will be in charge of the various restaurants in the municipality, in order to avoid large town halls. They are, yet, specific hygiene and safety rules are defined, including the mandatory use of a mask throughout the enclosure, limited control of entrances and the existence of disinfectant gel devices throughout the pavilion.
According to the Municipality of Mértola, “always prioritizing public health, we try little by little to return to normality as possible, in favor of the economy and social dynamics of our community”.
