The Municipality of Mértola carries out 20 a 22 October, at the Expo Mértola Multipurpose Pavilion, the XIV Hunting Fair. This is an event that promises to continue celebrating the passion for hunting, by nature, biodiversity and promote the region's tourist and economic potential.
In this edition of 2023, One of the highlights will be the renewed landscaping of the exterior entrance to the Expo Mértola Multipurpose Pavilion. this space, visitors will find a live fauna exhibition, exhibition of large hunting packs, car exhibition (4×4), exhibition of an ecosystem with fauna and flora created with recycled materials, a hunting demonstration park, a target shooting range with bow and crossbow, a rabbit dog demonstration park and many other attractions.
Throughout these 3 contest days, you can participate in hunting trips, such as in the Jumping Championship, on a falconry hunt, in the Santo Huberto Test, on a smaller hunting trip, or on one of the two large game mounts.
In addition to the activities mentioned above and exclusive to hunters,, the program for this edition of the Hunting Fair, It also includes activities for other people who also love nature, such as BirdWatching or Fauna and Flora Observation Routes in hunting territories.
Colloquiums and conferences on the most current topics in the sector, will obviously be part of this edition's program, through a series of conferences with the presence of the best experts in this area.
The municipality also promises all visitors, unforgettable moments of entertainment with Tiago Silva's shows, Raya and José Malhoa closing the event in a big way late Sunday afternoon.
Municipality of Mértola searchor new audiences for the Hunting Fair at FECIEX
