The Municipality of Mértola, inaugurated two important new infrastructures, in what was considered “a historic day for the municipality of Mértola, and in particular, to the São Domingos Mine”.
The Motorhome Service Area (SO) and the synthetic turf on the Cross Brown playing field, are from yesterday, a reality in the municipality of Mértola, which will allow us to attract new tourists, boost the local economy, improve sports practice and attract new athletes.
The inauguration ceremonies were attended by Jorge Rosa (President of the Municipal Assembly of Mértola), Ricardo Godinho (President of the Parish Council of Corte do Pinto), Peter Blessed (vice-president of the Regional Tourism Entity of Alentejo and Ribatejo), Manuel Gonçalves (President of the General Assembly of São Domingos Futebol Clube), Pedro Dias (Secretary of State for Sport) and Mário Tomé (Mayor of Mértola).
These initiatives highlight the continued investment of the Municipality of Mértola in improving the living conditions of its inhabitants.
