The Territorial Command Beja, through the Territorial Post of Moura, arrested three men and two women aged between 18 and 33 year old, of olive theft, in the municipality of Moura.
As part of a complaint reporting suspicious movements in an olive grove, the Guard soldiers quickly moved to the place where they surprised the suspects when they were picking up the olive, without authorization from the owner, reason that led to their arrests in flagrante delicto.
Following the action, a search was carried out on the suspects' vehicle, which culminated in the seizure of 782 kilos of olives and three manual machines for harvesting olives from the ground, known as hedgehogs.
The detainees were made defendants and the facts were communicated to the Judicial Court of Moura.
Thirteen men and five women have already been arrested this year for theft of olives in the municipality of Beja.

The arrests were carried out by soldiers from the Territorial Post of Beja of the GNR and in any case the ten detainees were made defendants and the facts communicated to the Judicial Court of Beja.
