A nurse at the Moura Health Center was attacked yesterday with a punch in the nose while she was on duty, by a man from the gypsy community who lives in the Alentejo city.
As reported by Radio Plain (RP), Moura local station, the health professional was assisted by colleagues on site, then heading to Beja on suspicion of nose fracture.
The situation happened around 15:00, when the user entered the Moura Health Center accompanied by another person, demanding urgent care, disrespecting the rules of the health unit, said a source quoted by PR.
When the nurse asked the user to calm down, the aggression took place.
The Public Security Police were called to the scene and identified the suspected attacker., known in the middle for other hostile practices of the same kind in other places in the city.
To RP, the same source also told our newsroom that this is a recurring situation at the Moura Health Center, a fact that jeopardizes the safety of health professionals working there.
