The bathing season at the Municipal Swimming Pool of Moura starts this Saturday, day 5 June. The space was the target of refurbishment works.
Taking into account the current pandemic situation, as well as the Contingency Plan in force, this space chosen by all Moorish people and visitors will work, in 2021, with a set of additional rules to safeguard the health and safety of all users.
So, As usual, the Municipal Pool of Moura will be open from Saturday to Thursday, entre as 10:00 e as 20:00, being its total capacity of 250 people. Bathers will have to take their bathing suit already dressed, as the spas will be temporarily closed; the entry of playful-didactic and shading materials will not be allowed; the use of the mask is mandatory, with exception only in the area of ​​the tanks; all users will have to disinfect their hands and maintain social distance from 2 meters in the queues and 1,5 meters between towels.
It should be recalled that the Municipal Pool of Moura was the subject of requalification works, that gave him better conditions. The works carried out included the rehabilitation of the existing structure, application of new interior coating of tanks, new flooring of the space surrounding the main tank, introduction of gutters and installation of hydraulic transfer elevator.
The work represented a total investment of €318,630.84 and benefited from funding from an application submitted to the “BEM – Improvement of Municipal Equipment” program, not value of €93,928.90.
