Moura: Evolution of covid-19 in Alentejo leads to suspension of visits to homes.
Visits to users in homes / IPSS’s in the municipality of Moura are suspended in the next 15 days.
The Câmara de Moura, through the Municipal Civil Protection decided to suspend from this Monday and for a period of 15 days, “Visits to the users of the homes of Private Institutions of Social Solidarity (IPSS) county ", revealed the municipality.
The suspension was decreed after a meeting held yesterday with the council's IPSS and decided as a “preventive measure” in view of the evolution of cases of covid-19 in the Alentejo region, in particular in the neighboring municipality of Reguengos de Monsaraz.
The autarchy chaired by the socialist Álvaro Azedo, revealed that next Wednesday, will re-test the “frontline professionals in fighting the pandemic, namely in the Basic Emergency Services, Volunteer Firefighters and Red Cross delegation from Safara and Sobral da Adiça.
The municipality of Moura was the one that until now, more positive cases of covid-19 recorded in the district of Beja, the vast majority in four housing units of Roma citizens, having been verified 82 cases, being 80 data as recovered and 2 housing surveillance assets.
This Sunday morning, the Municipality of Reguengos de Monsaraz announced the death of three more people, one of which 52 years that have nothing to do with the focus detected in a home in the city, making rise to 12 the number of fatalities in the county. No total, the death toll in the Alentejo is now 14 people, joining the two fatalities that occurred in the city of Beja.
