A man of 56 years dies, Wednesday, following a tractor accident, when working on a farm in the municipality of Moura.
Source of Relief Operations District Command (CDOS) of Beja indicated to the Lusa agency that the accident, for which the alert was given to 12.18 hours, occurred near Santo Aleixo da Restauração, in the municipality of Moura.
Segundo fonte da GNR, it was an accident at work, so inspectors from the Authority for Working Conditions were called on site (ACT), who are investigating the occurrence.
The same source, the deadly victim is an agricultural worker maneuvering the tractor and whose body was found dead, by other farm employees, about what 200 machine meters.
The rescue operations involved operational personnel from Moura Firefighters, the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) and the GNR, in total 14 elements, supported by six vehicles.
This was the first mortal involving agricultural machinery in 2021 no Beja district, where last year there were no victims of this type of accident.
