Moura: Iberian lynx on display at Castelo de Moura until 26 of September.


The exhibition “The Lynx on the Peninsula – Connecting Territories and Consolidate Populations”, promoted by CIMBAL — Baixo do Alentejo Intermunicipal Community, within the scope of the LIFE LYNXCONNECT project, is displayed in the Tourist Reception Building, located in Castelo de Moura.

Counting on the support of the Moura City Council, The exhibition aims to present the work carried out to local communities, ongoing and planned for the future, within the scope of the reintroduction and conservation of the Iberian Lynx in Portugal and Spain.

Associated with the exhibition, two moments of awareness and communication will be promoted about the importance of reintroducing the Iberian lynx with stories and tales about the species, which will be shared by the storyteller, Jorge Serafim, on 26 of September, to 14:00, in a session aimed at schools, and the 21:00, the Cine-Teatro Charity, for all interested.

The exhibition “The Lynx on the Peninsula – Connecting Territories and Consolidate Populations” will be on display in the Tourist Reception Building between 12 and 26 of September, and can be visited every day 09:00 to 12:30 e the 14:00 to 17:30.
