The crime of aggravated homicide in the attempted form took place in the afternoon of the day 8 October in Moura. The victims were a couple of Swedish citizens and seven minor children.
According to the online edition of "Diário de NotÃcias" (DN), the Judicial Police, through South Board, detained a man 53 years, by strong evidence of the practice of the crime of qualified homicide in the attempted form, tort occurred in the municipality of Moura, Alentejo.

After the altercation with the male element of the couple, the suspect chased the vehicle where the victims were following, executing the crime as soon as the opportunity presented itself.
Aggression consummated, the individual abandoned the place, and tried to hide from the authorities the objects and vehicles used in the execution of the crime.
As a result of the research work carried out, relevant evidentiary elements would be collected that led to the identification of the suspect and dictated the issuance of arrest warrants outside of flagrante delicto
The detention would be consummated, the detainee being present at judicial interrogation, having been applied non-deterrent coercive measures.
