The move to winter time follows from this weekend. According to the Astronomical Observatory of the information Lisbon, This Sunday morning the clocks should delay 60 minutes.
In mainland Portugal and Madeira, to 2:00 Morning hours delayed the clock 60 minutes, going to 1:00 the morning.
In the Azores the change will be made to 1:00 hours of Sunday morning, day 28 October, through to midnight (00:00), the same day.
This time change will last until the arrival of daylight saving time, a 31 March, of 2019.
The time change is fixed by Community legislation, occurring, to 2021, the last domingos de março (DST) and October (winter time). In Portugal, the official time is determined by the Astronomical Observatory of Lisbon.
