Odemira: 11ª comic BDTECA-show runs until March.
The Comic is great emphasis in the Municipal Library José Saramago, in Odemira, until next March, a set of activities, which brings together a National Contest of Comics, samples documentaries, exhibitions, hours of the story and workshops for children.
The program this year extended to Secondary School Dr. Manuel Candeias Gonçalves. The 11th edition of BDTECA - Show Comic Odemira is promoted by the municipality of Odemira, in partnership with the soup Artists - Local Association of Plastic Artists.
The initiative aims to disseminate this artistic genre among youth and adult audience, stimulate creativity and affirm Odemira as a major development centers of Comics in the region and in the country.
The National Contest of Comic runs until the day 10 Feb., directed to larger 16 year old. The competition is to prizes 500 euros for the 1st place, 250 2nd euros or e 125 or euros for 3rd place. The theme is free and each contestant can participate with more than one job. The rules are available at www.cm-odemira.pt
Between the days 1 and 17 Feb., the Library will receive the illustration exhibition of "Kong, the King”, Osvaldo Medina (not distinguished Comic Con 2016 with the Award Annual Comic Con BD and BD Award Excellence in Illustration). Between 18 February and 2 March, It will feature the exhibition of Liliana Maia "Cerneo and Cirneo". Throughout the month of February will be patent documentary shows BD, second themes and different authors.
Between 7 and 11 Feb., always to 16.30 hours, Legend of Odemira is the theme of Story Time, from the illustration in BD by André Oliveira. On 22 February, workshops will be held "The wonderful master BD", addressed to students of the 1st cycle, Streamlined for Marina Palace.
On 4 March, by 16.00 hours, the winners of the National BD contest will be announced and inaugurated the exhibition of the participants work. The exhibition will be open until 16 March.
