Odemira: The Taipa promotes solidarity campaign “Allies at Christmas 2019”.
Runs until the end of November the 17th solidarity campaign "Allies at Christmas", to collect toys and food items that will be offered to the neediest families Odemira.
After collection run, in December, the supply of toys (new or used, but in good condition) children from families marked by Social Security, Children Protection Commission and Youth and Community Intervention Projects.
Father Christmas will also exit to the streets handing out gifts for children around the county (17 a 20 of December), spreading joy and Christmas spirit throughout the community.
The initiative is promoted by TAIPA - Cooperative Organization for the County Integrated Development Odemira, with the support of the Municipality of Odemira and various bodies and local companies.
Those interested in participating can deliver toys (new or used, but in good condition) and foodstuffs (non-perishable), the Parish, School Groups, at the headquarters of TAIPA in Odemira and several partner organizations of Odemira.
They will also be distributed food baskets for families and seniors flagged for Social Security, Children Protection Commission and Youth and Community Intervention Projects.
