Odemira: Águas Públicas do Alentejo completes interventions in the municipality.


AgdA–Aguas Públicas do Alentejo, S.A., successfully completed a series of investments aimed at improving the quality of water supply services in the Almograve Subsystem, in Odemira, benefiting approximately 6.800 population.

The interventions covered the rehabilitation of the Almograve ETA and the supply to the areas of Vila Nova de Milfontes, Brunheiras, St. Louis, Vale Bejinha and Castelão. They were also built 3 reservoirs, 4 lifting stations and 26 km of pipelines.

The investment amount was around 4,5 million, co-financed in 85% by the POSEUR Cohesion Fund – Operational Program Sustainability and Efficiency in the Use of Resources.

Continuing to focus on improving Supply Subsystems allows us to guarantee quality, reliability and efficiency in the provision of “high” water services, contributing to the development of the region and community well-being.
