Odemira: Municipality promotes, of 21 a 27 November, gastronomic honey week and arbutus.
In order to promote the culinary use of honey and arbutus, the municipality of Odemira challenged local restaurants to participate in this gastronomic week. Taste the best dishes and sweet with honey and medronho 21 a 27 November in participating restaurants.
Honey and Arbutus are the featured ingredients in Gastronomic Week which will be held in Odemira between days 21 and 27 November, with the participation of several restaurants and in order to promote two of the local products with higher quality and tradition.
The event will feature the participation of restaurants "Field Flower" (Savoy), "The Pit Escondidinho" and "O Tarro" (Odemira), "O Jaime" (Boavista dos Pinheiros), “Mar e Sol†(Vila Nova de Milfontes) and "O the” (Zambujeira do Mar).
The menus are various dishes or snacks of meat and confecionados fish of various shapes and flavored with honey or arbutus.
Also the desserts will be based on honey and arbutus of Odemira, with proposals as Semifrio of arbutus, Cake and pudding honey and walnut, Cake mel, Honey Pudding, corn bread with honey, French toast with honey, Medronhosca and Arbutus Southwest.
