Odemira: Municipal Library promotes writing workshop.


“Let's write a story and publish a book” It is the challenge of Writing Workshop that will be promoted at the Municipal Library José Saramago, in Odemira, streamlined by writer Fernando Évora.

The initiative will take place in three sessions, held on 13 and 20 October and 10 November, always from 15.00 hours.

After two sessions in which they will discuss issues related to the art of writing, participants will write a story. The texts will be compiled for later publication of a book, to present on a date set. Entries are limited to ten participants.

On 13 October, the first session will be devoted to the topic “the writing process – problems and recitals”. The second session, on 20 October, It will be devoted to practical exercises. The last activity, on 10 November, will be to review and correction of papers written in the workshop.

This initiative is promoted by ASSESTA – Alentejo Writers Association, in partnership with the Municipal Library José Saramago and the municipality of Odemira. The aim is to stimulate creative writing and promoting literature and gender particular tale.
