Odemira: Social Card with benefits extended by the local authority to Fire.
Municipality of Odemira extends benefits of Social Card to Volunteer Firefighters. With the implementation of this measure the local authority intends to recognize the spirit of volunteerism and sacrifice, generosity and selflessness of “Peacekeepers”.
Firefighters Odemira Volunteers can enjoy the benefits of the Municipal Social Card, allowing them discounts on water supply service fees, of wastewater treatment and municipal solid waste or in the Municipal Pools services and shows the Cineteatro Camacho Costa.
With the implementation of this measure the local authority intends to recognize the spirit of volunteerism and sacrifice, generosity and selflessness of Fire.
From now on all county Fire Volunteers to serve on Odemira for more than one year may apply for Social Card Municipal, which will give them access to a wide range of benefits.
Reduction of 30% the rates of use of the water supply service provided for in article 66 of the Municipality of Odemira Water Supply Regulations; reduction 30% the rates of use of the sanitation service wastewater provided for in article 41 and ancillary services tariffs cleaning tanks provided in paragraph h) of article 42 of the Waste Water Sanitation Regulation of the Municipality of Odemira; reduction 30% in the municipal solid waste service usage charges provided for in article 40 of the Waste Regulation Solid Urban Municipality of Odemira; assignment of solar batteries to use Protocol beneficiaries of Alternative Energy; discount 30% access to the Municipal Swimming Pools; and discount 30% at all events in Cineteatro Camacho Costa.
To access the Municipal Social Card just making a declaration of the competent authority to prove the category and function exercise period for over a year as Volunteer Firefighter in the county, citizen card and tax number.
This measure results from the amendment to the Allocation Rules of the Municipal Social Card, approved unanimously in the House of the Meeting 18 February 2016 and Meeting of the Municipal Assembly 26 February 2016.
