Odemira: Five injured in firefighting fire truck crash.


An Odemira firefighting vehicle crashed, this Wednesday night, leaving five injured.

The accident occurred around 20.20 hours in São Teotônio, in Odemira, when members of the corporation returned from an incident. Has learned the Lidador News, one of the victims was projected, getting stuck under the vehicle.

At the scene of the incident there are 39 operational, supported by 16 vehicles, of the Odemira firefighters, Ourique, Vila Nova de Milfontes, Alvalade do Sado and Cercal do Alentejo and the GNR.

The immediate life support ambulance was also mobilized (SIV) Odemira, medical vehicle emergency and resuscitation (VMER) from Portimão Hospital and the INEM helicopter from Loulé.
