A man was arrested on strong suspicion of having committed an attempted murder crime. A Criminal Investigation Judge of the Odemira Court imposed preventive detention.
The Judicial Police, through the Criminal Investigation Department of Portimão, with the helpful collaboration of GNR de Odemira, identified and detained a man for the presumed authorship of an attempted murder crime, committed in the night of the day 14 November, in the Boavista dos Pinheiros area, county of Odemira.
When the aggressor and victim were inside their residence, they became involved in an argument for futile reasons., what had been usual. During the fight, the attacker equipped himself with a large kitchen knife and hit the victim in the arm, thoracic region and neck, then fleeing without assisting or providing assistance.
As a result of the severity of the injuries, was taken to the hospital unit, where it was intervened, being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in a condition considered very serious.
The detainee, of 30 years, This was the first judicial interrogation, having been applied to coercive measure of preventive detention. The Inquiry is held by the Public Prosecutor’s Office – Odemira Section.
